I See You
The watched turning to watch back. A pointed finger reverses the whole arrangement of looking · you arrive to observe and find yourself the one under recognition.
A minimal figurative work centered on direct engagement and perception.
The figure points outward, collapsing the distance between subject and viewer. This gesture reverses the traditional dynamic of observation, shifting attention back onto the viewer and creating a moment of confrontation.
The absence of facial detail removes individuality, allowing the figure to function as both self and other · a presence that observes while being observed.
The restrained composition heightens the psychological tension, reducing the image to its essential interaction: recognition.
Executed in mixed media on canvas.
